GMAC Bowl: Central Michigan (11-2) vs. Troy (9-3)

Troy has been nearly as potent offensively as the Chippewas, ranking 17th nationally — one spot below Central Michigan — in scoring. This group is led by quarterback Levi Brown, who ranks second in the F.B.S. in total offense (323.9 yards per game).

While LeFevour does damage with his arm and his legs, Brown is a more prototypical pocket passer. The senior has rushed for only 19 yards on the season but has thrown for 3,868. His favorite target is the junior receiver Jerrel Jernigan, whose 62 receptions lead the team.

This is a more balanced Troy passing attack than in years past, with 12 players with at least 10 catches on the season.
