A major earthquakes hit the Island country NewZealand Christchurch city on Feb 22. 

The 6.3-magnitude quake, per the USGS, shook New Zealand's South Island and its largest city of Christchurch at 12:50 p.m. local time.

This is the second time in Two months that NewZealand received the earthquakes of such a high magnitude.

The city was struck by a force 7.1 quake last September. 

According to sources " No tsunami alert was issued and there were no reports of injuries, but looters broke into some damaged shops in Christchurch"
